Samsung Sch-r400 Review – a Review of the Samsung Sch-r400 Cellular Phone
Packed with as much style as it has functions, the Samsung SCH-R400 for Metro PCS comes with all the gadgets you would expect in a modern phone.
Complete with Bluetooth wireless technology, advanced text messaging capabilities and a 1.3 megapixel camera, the Samsung SCH-R400 holds plenty of specs in its small frame. Weighing 3.4 oz and measuring 3.9” X 1.9”, the SCH-R400 features a unique slim slider design as opposed to a typical flip phone. The 2” display is bright and beautiful, capable of up to 65K colors at 128 X 160 megapixels. Slide the display up to reveal the keypad -which is fully backlit for easy typing in the dark. You will surely use this keypad to take advantage of the SCH-R400’s SMS/EMS/MMS capabilities to send and receive audio, images and animations along with your text messages. The SCH-R400 also features total T9 text prediction technology to make texting fast and simple!
The SCH-R400 is also capable of the Mail@Metro function that is available through Metro PCS. This function allows you to send and receive e-mails without using a WAP or HTML browser. Indeed, you can stay connected and in touch with everyone with the SCH-R400.
The phone is also equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology to get completely hands-free to access your phonebook or make calls when using the wireless headset. Additional Bluetooth compatible devices are available to make your life easier.
The Samsung SCH-R400 also features a handy 1.3 megapixel digital camera complete with a flash, zoom, auto focus and brightness settings. The camera has two setting – the highest resolution setting allows for 128 X 960 pixels and the lowest setting allows for 160 X 120 pixels to store more photos on your phone. The phone’s SMS and MMS memory allows you to store as many pictures as your space allows – as well as up to 500 phonebook entries.
