Is there a place where I can get my old power drill batteries replaced with the new Lithium – ION battery cell?
I heard that Nicd and other rechargale battery cells can be replaced with the new Lithium-ION battrey cells, of which are said to last longer and hold power longer.
They do last longer, but unfortunately if your drill has been designed to take one sort of battery, the other kind will not be compatible, they won;t fit.
It’s like trying to stick D-cells in a c cell slot, it won’t work.
There is a chain store called Batteries + . If you have one on your area, that’s what they do, they specialize in every kind of battery you can imagine. They may be able to give you some advice.
